The start of August saw us back at the incredible venue of Ruthin Castle for the wedding of Kathryn and Phillip. As 700 year old welsh castles go, this one is right up there as one of the best and as a wedding venue it’s pretty awesome too. We are back again in December for a ‘Christmas Ruthin Castle wedding’ which should be a treat!

We absolutely loved Kathryn and Phillip’s colour scheme – blue and red, and I have no idea what the flowers were but they were set off by the navy suits perfectly and the whole wedding looked fantastic. That’s enough superlatives for one blog post, so I’ll try and cut back on any more… you get the idea though I hope! They both were really relaxed and so easy to work with and the fun they had on the wedding day shows through in their photographs. Having said that, we got a 1 hour window from the end of the ceremony to rainstorms where we managed to squeeze in candids, a huge group shot list and bride and groom portraits so we were incredibly lucky!

Here’s a selection of our favourite images from the day – be warned, there’s lots! 🙂
