Since we have spent this weekend shovelling snow and being reminded of Christmas, how about some photographs from the Ruthin Castle Christmas Wedding of Kim and Gareth? We are firmly in to Spring now, so this is from 3 months ago and long overdue being featured on our blog. Their engagement shoot has already been on the blog (Harlech Engagement Shoot) so look back if you want a reminder!
The ceremony was at the fabulous church of St Marys at the top of the High Street in Mold. Unsurprisingly, it was bitterly cold but the church minister provided a warm welcome and kindly allowed us to do some family group shots in the church after the ceremony. Once the ceremony and family formals were complete, we all headed over to Ruthin Castle for the reception. We had a few minutes with Kim and Gareth for some pics and then it was straight in to mingling with the guests, speeches and food before the evening entertainment where there was an incredible fireworks display and a ceilidh for those brave enough to take part.
Here are a selection of our favourites. 🙂
We absolutely love photographing weddings at Ruthin Castle, it is certainly one of the best North Wales wedding venues with so many photography opportunities.
