I do love a good marquee wedding on a farm and Nia and Dan’s Nefyn wedding was everything it should be. An incredible setting for both the ceremony and the reception with views you could lose yourself in all day. The church was St Tecwyns between Llandecwyn and Talsarnau, with stunning views out to Portmeirion in one direction and over to Snowdonia in the other. There’s a huge panorama (too wide for a blog post) over on our Facebook page, but to get an idea of the detail in it, you’d need to see a 3ft wide print of it!
A series of minibuses ferried guests up to St Tecwyns and back down, the jolly vicar kept everyone entertained throughout the service and then we made our way back to Nia’s family farm on the North side of the peninsula at Pontllyfni. Everything else you can see below, keep your eye on the Client Gallery in around 3 weeks for the full set of images. I’m sure Marie will add a bit more detail, in the meantime I’m off to shoot today’s wedding in Shropshire!
Thanks to our local photographer friend Charlotte Giddings for helping me on this one, while Marie was off shooting Claire and Peter’s Liverpool wedding, which will also go on line later today when I get back! Jason
