What a wonderful autumn day at the Grosvenor Pulford and St Mary’s Plas Power Church in Bersham. Guests had not only come from the UK, but also flown in from around world for the wedding of Nia and Richard. The church is set off a quiet country lane and surrounded by huge evergreen trees giving a real feeling of peace and tranquility. It’s a beautiful church and worth a visit on a Sunday morning.
The ceremony brought together the grooms family for the first time in many years, some had flown in from South Africa especially. The brides father beamed with pride all day! The reception followed on at the Grosvenor Pulford and we just had time for a few photo’s outside before it got too dark, the orange lights casting a warm glow over proceedings. I tried to make a joke that the photographer should get some cake as it’s tradition, but I don’t think they fell for it!
They had subtle table scatterings of pot poiree with a lovely smell of spices which was so fabulous as you walked into the room and carried on the theme with the autumnal colours. The cake was amazing and their families so lovely, warm and friendly. It was a pleasure to photograph the wedding, here are some of our favourite images.
