Clare and Paul got married and held their reception at The Outbuildings in Anglesey this weekend. A fabulous venue, nestled away in the South West corner of Anglesey this was our first visit there. Their story and sneak peek looks like this!
Our Wedding Story:
How we met: Paul and I had lived in the same village since we were young and we both worked in the same supermarket for a number of years but had never crossed paths properly. Out of the blue Paul invited me to the cinema, we went to see UP! and haven’t looked down or back since!
The Proposal: Paul took me away for my birthday last year for a weekend in Bowness-on-Windermere. We had a lovely dinner in the hotel and he suggested we take a walk down to the lake afterwards. He surprised me with a proposal on a jetty out on the lake! He even went down on one knee!!
Wedding Vision: We wanted a small, family country wedding with a laid back feel to it, which reflected our personalities. We also wanted an outdoor aspect to it as we are outdoor lovers. We loved the idea of a ceilidh as neither of us can dance! I love sunflowers so knew straight away these were going to be my flowers.
The ice creams were utterly fantastic, the venue was superb and very hospitable and both families were great fun to spend the day with – we had a ball! Although we usually do… 🙂
