2010 a year in Review

Posted on by webmaster

2010 – what a year!! It was our first full year of business and I must say I was a little bit scared. The start of the year began with a very white wedding complete with blanket of snow, tricky conditions but we nailed it and the results made a fantastic album. Momentum picked up coming in to the summer and we travelled to Barmouth for a beautiful wedding at Bae Abermaw, all around Wrexham and Corwen and we visited some fabulous churches including the private church of the Yale family at Plas yn Iâl, and the most impressive church at Ruabon (where Jason left his stepladder…).

Lots of weddings followed and we thought we were getting lucky with the weather as we had some amazing sunshine – we were starting to think we should change our tag line to “can guarantee sunshine”!! It wasn’t to continue though and we had a few wet weddings, but only one in Llanarmon DC where we did not get any break and had to use the umbrellas and do a group shot for 54 people inside! We didn’t want the rain to take away from the most amazing views of the valleys, so with a bouyant bride and groom we ventured out.

So, come the end of the year we are very pleased with our results and have had some great reviews from our wonderful clients. All that remains is to say thankyou to them, we really couldn’t have done it without you :), and we are so looking forward to next years weddings. We have some great new ideas and can’t wait to get started! We have 6 weekends left for bookings in 2011 and we expect these to fill up quickly early in the year, so if you are interested in booking please be quick – we want to decide when to book our summer holidays!

We were ecstatic to get these reviews on our Google page from some of this years clients. Did I already say we had the BEST clients this year!

Highly recommended. Marie and Jason were able to capture all of the classic wedding pictures and an amazing array of relaxed and intimate moments. They have the unique quality to be able to capture moments from every angle but without being intrusive. Producing original pictures of excellent quality. If that wasn’t enough Marie and Jason also are lovely people too! Many thanks

Thank you Marie and Jason for the excellent service you have provided us over the past 18 months or so. You managed to put us at ease throughout the process- dealing with us in a friendly and pressure free manner. The way you covered our Special Day was fantastic- you integrated yourselves seamlessly amongst our guests- capturing all of the most magical moments. I would like to say that the advise you have offered regarding photo and album choices has been invaluable and the end product is spectacular- a fitting tribute to the best day of our lives. Once again thank you

We would like to let everyone know how professional and what excellent photographers Marie and Jason were for our wedding day. They managed to capture the relaxed atmosphere of our day and the fun that eveyone was having which was exactly what we wanted. Thank you both so much, it is very clear from the end product that they both have a real passion for what they are doing and for making the day and the photographs perfect. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to other people, and have even booked a portrait shoot aswell. Thanks guys

We are so glad we found Marie and Jason to be our photographers on our wedding day. They were a real delight to work with; friendly, helpful and fun to be with. We are so pleased with our photos, and the reportage style in which they were done was exactly what we were looking for. We had a rainy wedding day but the photos taken outside are really beautiful and well captured – very atmospheric and romantic – whilst the indoor photos captured the happy and fun mood of the occassion. We will be recommending Marie and Jason to all our friends and family

There’s more on our facebook page too!! I really can’t thank everybody enough for their support this year, roll on 2011. 🙂
