Liverpool Engagement Shoot

We met up with Jo and Ian on a damp Sunday afternoon for this engagement session in Liverpool. We had plans to use various venues and Jo was 110% enthusiastic about every possible location, but had a particular attraction to the Royal Liver Building. I can’t say I blame her, it is a majestic sight looking out over the Mersey with the 18 foot tall Liver Birds perched above the clock towers.

We had great fun with this shoot and are looking forward to their forthcoming wedding! Enjoy 🙂

Although already engaged and indeed planning their wedding, Ian had a new engagement ring for Jo and proceeded to ask her once again to marry him! I’m pretty sure she wasn’t going to change her mind at this point 🙂

The clocks on the Royal Liver Building were started on the 22nd June 1940 at the exact moment King George V was crowned in Westminster Abbey!

Jo and Ian were joined by Dan for the shoot, a proper comedian in the making!

This is a great location for a shoot, we aren’t too bothered by a little rain and in cases like this it can really enhance the images!

If you are planning a wedding, then an engagement shoot can be really helpful to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera and let you know what to expect on your big day. For wedding photography in the North Wales, Chester or Wirral areas, please get in touch and see how we can help you. Marie x
