About Me

Hi, I am Marie. When you speak to me you will notice my South Wales accent and yes I probably sound a bit like Stacey from ‘Gavin and Stacey’ and I do say lush a lot! 2011 is my third year working full time as Marie Lloyd Photography and it is so much fun and worth all the hard work we put in. I have a degree and post graduate diploma, I really want to capture beauty and emotion and I love candid shots, because that’s when I think I get some of the most beautiful shots of the brides.

I couldn’t do it without my husband and side kick Jase. Why? Because I follow the bride and only the bride, capturing every funny moment, every gorgeous look and every bit of ‘Wow’ you ooze on your wedding day. Jase gets all your details super creatively, your groom shots, your guests and most importantly he gets the other view so while I am picturing the grooms first glance at you walking down the aisle, he is getting the first glance of you looking at your groom, it’s magic and two photographers who know each other so well is invaluable.
